The Senate Education Committee has scheduled two interim hearings for 9 a.m. Monday, February 22 and 9 a.m. Monday, March 22. The February hearing will focus on charge #4, an examination of cost drivers and on charge #8, to monitor the implementation of HB 3 (major accountability legislation) and HB 4294 (textbook and technology legislation). On March 22, the committee will meet to discuss interim charge #1, dealing with charter school performance and accountability. Full hearing notices are available below:
